it’s from Ten Inch Hero, which, aside from Jensen Ackles being suddenly insanely attractive in it, is a genuinely fucking terrible film.

First 7 AM wakeup in a while and what is it this time? Dad let the dog pick up a dead, maggoty, baby mouse, WHILE SHE WAS ON LEASH! Somehow he didn’t notice, but my mother saw her chewing something at the top of the stairs and came to investigate.

Guess where the dog goes when she’s got something illicit? UNDER MY BED. Awesome. Maggots are interesting sometimes, but never when they are all over the carpet. Best part? They’re carpet coloured.

It is absolutely hilarious that you said that, considering that was exactly what I wanted to name him! However, some my staff mentioned that it has been used as a racial slur in the past (I’d never heard that) so unfortunately in the interests of not being incorrect, that name is out. We’re considering ‘Hunter’, after Dr. Bruce Hunter, who founded the local Wild Bird Clinic and passed away last year.

Whaaat! I think that’s ridiculous. I’ve only ever heard of it in terms of spooky or ghostlike, never a racial slur. That sucks! I remember your post about Dr Hunter, it would nice to go for it.

I also cast my vote for Stalker, since they’re quiet, but then I would have to visit all the time and say Shadow of Chernobyl stuff at the poor wee thing. “Over here Stalker, I have something that might interest you! PS it’s a day-old. :|”
